Town`s three match unbeaten run came to an end yesterday when the Mariners went down 2-0 at Bradford`s Coral Windows Stadium.

One change was made to the starting eleven with Akpa Akpro coming back in from injury to replace Peter Bore who was dropped to the bench.

Bradford started the game well with former Mariner Michael Boulding getting an header in inside the first two minutes but sent the ball wide of the goal.

Steve Jones then had a shot for Bradford but his attempt was stop by Mariners keeper, Phil Barnes, who caught hold of the ball.

Bradford won a corner that was taken by Nicky Laws and he sent the ball to the centre where Zeshan Rehman headed the ball but it was cleared by Jamie Clarke.

Rob Atkinson was then showed the red card after 20 minutes for a professional foul.

Jones then came close to putting Bradford in the lead when he had a shot but the ball hit the post.

Town made an early change on 25 minutes when Nathan Jarman was replaced by Matthew Heywood.

Barnes had to then pull of a good save to deny a shot from Dean Furman before the Mariners where forced in to making a second change on 30 minutes when Akpa Akpro picked up an injury and was replaced by Peter Bore.

Bradford where looking the dangerous and Nicky Law got another shot in for the home side but was denied by Barnes who caught hold of the ball.

Has the first half entered the final minutes, Jamie Clarke, was booked for a foul on Omar Daley before Daley had a shot in stoppage time but sent the ball wide of the goal.

Bradford got the first chance of the second half when Jones tried a powerful shot from 30 yards but sent it wide.

Bradford where the team looking most likely to score first and Jones got another shot in but the ball was blocked by Matthew Heywood. Town failed to fully clear the ball and Rehman sent a cross in to the area where Furman headed the ball wide.

Bradford kept up the pressure and a shot from Daley went over the bar before an header a few minutes later from Boulding also went over the bar.

Town got a shot in has they looked to hang onto the game but Kalalas`s attempt was blocked by Matthew Clarke.

Then with 15 minutes remaining Bradford took the lead when a powerful shot from Law found the bottom-left of the goal.

Bradford then made a change with Omar Daley being replaced by Joe Colbeck.

Ryan Bennett got a shot in for Town has they looked to get an equaliser but the ball was caught by Bradford`s keeper, Rhys Evans.

Dean Sinclair then tried a shot but the ball flew over the bar before Bradford made their second change has the game approached stoppage time with Peter Thorne being replaced by Barry Conlon.

Bradford then scored their second goal on the 93rd minute when Joe Colbeck passed the ball to Steve Jones and he put the ball in the net from just six yards.

Town`s three match unbeaten run comes to and end and they will now be looking at getting something out of Tuesday nights game at Luton.
