The meet the new neighbours series continues

This will be Eastbourne Borough`s third season in the Blue Square Premier thanks to a late penalty on the final day against eventual Play-Off winners Oxford United. Simon Weatherstone despatched the 84th minute winner from the spot to ensure The Sports stayed up.

Gary Wilson works wonders with a side many feel are punching well above their weight just being in the Premiership. This summer he has charmed forward Richard Pacquette from York, Rikki Banks from Lewes and Matt Langston from Histon. Free agent Kane Wills has also joined the fold with Paul Armstrong Liam Enver-Marum and Marc Pullan being released.

A run in the FA Cup, good levels of visiting support and avoiding relegation will be the order of the day in 2010/11
