There was only one change to the starting line-up from the Rotherham win with Peter Bore coming in for injured Akpa Akpro

Adam Proudlock got a shot in for the Mariners but was caught by Dagenham`s keeper, Tony Roberts.

The Mariners then took the lead on 19 minutes when a pass from Dean Sinclair found Stuart Elliott and he kept the ball low and put it in the back of the net.

the area and Bore headed the ball but it was blocked by Danny Foster and went out for a corner but Town could not create anything from the corner.

Proudlock then sent a shot in but was knocked away by Roberts only to JP Kalala and he tried a shot but the ball went wide of the goal.

Nathan Jarman then gave a free kick away for a foul on Matt Ritchie. Solomon Taiwo took the free kick and Magnus Okuonghae met the ball and tried a shot but Ryan Bennett managed to put a block in and send the ball out for a corner.

Ritchie took the corner but Robert Atkinson got to it first and cleared the danger.

Dagenham then scored an equaliser when Jon Nurse put a powerful shot into the bottom-right of the goal.

Has the game approached half-time Town went to look and try and get back in front but a shot from Sinclair was saved by Roberts and the teams went into the break level.

Dagenham started the second-half the better of the two teams and got a couple of shots in. Taiwo sent in an effort from around 25 yards but was tipped over the bar by Town`s keeper Phil Barnes before a shot from Okuonghae went wide.

Dagenham then wom a free kick after a foul on Ben Strevens by Rob Atkinson. Taiwo took the kick and Okuonghae got his head to the ball but did not trouble Barnes who caught hold of the ball.

Strevens then tried a shot from 30 yards but it went wide of the goal.

The only booking of the game came went to Taiwo for a foul on JP Kalala.

Dagenham went looking to take the lead and Jon Nurse sent in a cross but the resulting shot from Taiwo went over the bar.

Dagenham then won another free kick after a foul by Sinclair on Ritchie. Taiwo took the kick and tried for goal but Barnes managed to tip the ball wide.

Dagenham made the only change of the game on 88 minutes when Jon Nurse was replaced by Mark Nwokeji.

Glen Southam tried to get a late winner but his attempt on goal ended up going wide.

Both teams end up taking a point from a game Dagenham could have won in the end. The Mariners now extend their unbeaten run to three games and will look to make it four on Saturday when they travel to the Coral Windows Stadium to take on Bradford.
