Grimsby play their last home game of the season on Saturday against already promoted Peterborough United who have been allocated 1,700 tickets for the game and are expected to sell them all.
Peterborough will be looking to leave Blundell Park with the win and hope that MK Dons slip up away to Bradford if they are to have any chance of taking the League Two title. Peterborough have already booked their place in League One and are four points behind MK Dons, so a win for the Posh on Saturday is a must.
Grimsby don`t have much apart from pride to play for and could have an affect on who wins the title. Should we get a win today and end our six game losing streak then no matter what MK Dons do Peterborough will have to settle for second place and MK Dons will be crowned champions.
Vital Grimsby Says:
Town will be looking to hopefully win both of their remaining games but the recent run of defeats makes me have doubts about winning against Peterborough. I can see another defeat for Town here but hope to be proved wrong.
