Adrian Forbes, wideboy extraordinair has gone to London where the Streets are paved with Gold – well they are up the QPR end of the Uxbridge Road anyway, and could play against York City on Saturday. He is the second Lincolnshire forward to ply his trade there with ex Lincoln City darling, another Adrian, one Count Von Patulea, also in the side.

Well not quite, the ex Imp scored on his debut and then saw red for handbags and will therefore miss Saturday`s game. Adrian of the Forbes family, is now recovered from his operation and subsequent Cleethorpes remedial work, has apparently signed for Hayes & Yeading ahead of a possible debut against York City this Saturday.

Forbes appears to have convinced manager Gary Haylock and will line up for the reserves alongside ex Geordie striker Paul Robinson.

Home gates of 300 and a position in the relegation places hardly gives much room for manoeuvre you would think, yet Hayes had Ben Wright on their books prior to him being sold to the Creepy Crawley Club. Forbes having been wedged up by the Mariners could well accept a deal similar to the loan contribution Hayes were paying Barry Fry.
