Nick Hegarty has been on trial up at St Mirren since Monday, after leaving the Mariners recently. Rumours had suggested he might move to York, Whitby Town or Darlington but it would appear his destiny could be much further North.
St Mirren manager Danny Lennon wants a left winger and 24 year old Hegarty could well fit the bill. Nick allegedly impressed in the friendly win over Kilmarnock yesterday.
