The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Exeter City and Grimsby Town this Saturday.

Exeter City host Grimsby Town on Saturday November 11 for the game at St James Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Dean Whitestone
Assistant Refs: Steven Plane and Simon Shaw
Fourth Official: Mark Derrien

Match Day referee Whitestone has officiated 16 games in 2017/18, showing 41 yellow cards and one red card so far.

He took in 43 games in 2016/17 with a return of 119 yellow cards and three red cards.

He took charge of 39 matches in 2015/16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 119 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Bristol Rovers and Mansfield in March, with eight yellows being shown. Prior to that Colchester and Scunthorpe in August saw seven yellows being shown and he also showed seven in the game between Middlesbrough and Blackburn in February.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
