Former Grimsby loan star, Zhang Enhua, is to be the club’s guest of honour at Blundell Park for this saturday’s match against league leaders AFC Wimbledon.

Zhang was brought to the club in 2000 by the Town manager at that time, Lennie Lawrence, on a three month loan deal from his parent club in China.

At the time, Zhang was the captain of the Chinese national team. He made a total of 16 appearances in the black and white stripes, scoring three goals.

A big favourite of the Grimsby fans, Zhang is currently in the UK to gain his coaching badges.
