The Mariners will be playing Tranmere Rovers at Blundell Park on Tuesday night and we have got an interview with the editor of an Unofficial Rovers Website, The questions were also kindly supplied by their website editor.

What is you name and for how long have you supported Tranmere Rovers?
My names Michael Jackson (honestly) and I have supported Tranmere for around 19 years.

What is your most memorable Tranmere Rovers moment/match?
The trip to the 2000 League Cup Final at Wembley where we lost 2-1 was a memorable moment but the semi-final second leg that preceded it when we won through to Wembley by beating Bolton is my favourite match of all time.

Your worst moment supporting Tranmere Rovers?
We got relegated to League One in 2001 although I wasn`t a regular that season because of Uni so instead I would say the 2005 play-off semi-final defeat to Hartlepool on penalties – heartbreaking!

In your eyes who is Tranmere`s All-Time Greatest Player and why?
My favourite player is Johnny Morrissey but the best would have to be Ian Muir that I can remember. John Aldridge is obviously up there too for his goal exploits but Muir is our all-time greatest goal scorer and that is enough for me!

Taxi For? (To which Player would you pay a Taxi Fare to leave the Club?)
With the depature of Calvin Zola in the summer who was OK but often out injured, I wouldn`t say there is anyone I would particularly want to get rid of at this stage.

Which Tranmere player can do most damage to Grimsby Town on Tuesday Night?
Our new signing Charlie Barnett in midfield looks a top player and if Chris Greenacre and Craig Curran get the service upfront they could also do some damage.

Is Ronnie Moore the right man to get Tranmere out of League One?
Despite his support from Rovers fans being low at the end of last season as we faded away in League One, I still believe he is the right man and this season we have a young squad but we seem to have more depth within it so fingers crossed!

Any Tranmere Chants we should try to listen out for at the game?
Nothing special although we do have a new one about our Striker Bas Savage which may be heard if he scores against you!

What is your Top Two Prediction for League One this season?
I can`t see Leeds slipping up again but I think Leicester will struggle first time back so I`m going for Leeds and a surprise package in Peterborough

Play-Off Winners?
Would love to say Tranmere but that would be a jinx so I will say that Northampton may just do it this season.

Your tip for the Bottom four places?
Of the teams coming up I can`t see any of them struggling particularly. I will go for Yeovil, Cheltenham, Stockport County and Leyton Orient for no reason at all really.

Where do you think Tranmere Rovers will finish this season?
I would like to think we can push for the play-offs but with a young side this time around I guess a season of development and gelling is more realistic.

Do you think Grimsby will be Promoted/Relegated from League One and why?
I don`t know too much about how the Mariners are looking this season or indeed the other League Two sides so I will hedge my bets and go for mid-table for Grimsby.

Danny Coyne was a Grimsby hero! Does he have the same status at Prenton Park?
Very much so! His return last summer was my highlight of the close-season and he performed well last season in his first season back on Merseyside.

What is your Prediction for Tuesday`s game between the sides?
Our recent record in any Cup but particularly this one is abysmal so you could look at it that we`re due a run in it. On the other hand of course our luck could continue to be bad. I`ll go for a 1-1 draw but an extra-time defeat.

Any other comments to add?
I hope Grimsby have a good season (after going out of the Cup on Tuesday) and I hope the Rovers Fans behave themselves up there!

Thanks to Tranmere fan and site editor Michael Jackson for taking the time to answer the questions.
