Mansfield Town, one of the Mariner’s nearest rivals geographically in the Blue Square Bet Premier, has been placed up for sale by it’s current owners.
Despite being up in the play off positions, The Stags have been forced into making drastic cuts as regards their playing budget in the last few months and have also closed down the centre of excellence and youth teams.
