So another Tuesday in the Blue Square and wins on the 24th of August for Crawley, Fleetwood, Forest Green, Rushden and Southport.

Forest Green were the only team in the top four to win in an exciting game away to Hayes and Yeading. Ben Wright`s hatrick for the home team, starting with a 39 minute penalty and other goals in 55 and 69 was not enough to give victory to the West London side, as Styche (28), keeper Harrison own goal (47), McDonald (63) and a last minute winner from Jon Else inflicting the damage.

Fleetwood gain a place in the early top five with a 2-0 victory in the North East at Gateshead. Goals from Vieira (35) and McGuire (44) secured the points by the end of the first half.

Almost the same again as Steve Evans Crawley beat Bath City 2-1. Crawley going into a 2-0 lead at half time with goals from local Tubbs (20) and a McAllister penalty (42). Webb on 75 minutes was a mere consolation for the washed ones.

The beast Rene Howe fired home on 64 minutes to give Rushden and Diamonds a 1-0 home win against AFC Wimbledon.

Another 1-0 win, this time in the NorthWest with Southport against Altrincham. ‘Port`s Gray on 82 minutes giving them the three points.

And that is it for wins this Tuesday. Oh, OK, I`ll mention Steven Watt`s storming header for the Mariners, away at Darlington for a 1-0 win. Please lets make Blundell Park a fortress from now on, guys?

Anyway, draws for David Livermore`s first game in charge at Histon, 1-1 at home to Eastbourne Boro.

Luton, the early pace setters of the League saw them fail to maintain their 100% winning start with another 1-1 at home to Newport County.

Mansfield drew 1-1 against Kettering and Tamworth drew by the same score against Cambridge United.

At Kit Kat Crescent, a bore draw saw York entertain Barrow.

Interesting to note the draws this week all might mean something in binary!
