Grimsby Town Ladies will be playing Winterton on Sunday 27th April in a top of the table clash for the title in a 2pm kick off.

Town, Winterton and Scunthorpe are all aiming for that top spot and will the title and with Town playing Winterton this Sunday it is likely to go to the very last game and Grimsby are allowing fans in for free to help cheer the Ladies on to victory.

Speaking to the official site, Manager Paul Farbrace, said: ‘We have a young squad this season. The success in the league and as League Cup finalists has proved that this team can go far.

‘Whether we achieve promotion this year will depend on the result this weekend and our final game against Scunthorpe. However, I believe that Grimsby Town Ladies has some very successful years ahead of us.

He continued: ‘Our under 15 and under 16 sides have both won the double this year and will meet each other in the County cup final early in May. This shows the strength and depth of our younger players and selection next year for the senior team will become more complex, but it is a great dilemma to have.’

Entry is into the main stand via Harrington Street only and is free, so come down and cheer the Ladies onto victory.
