Rumors are a rift that Peterborough have made an enquire into Mariners player of the year Ryan Bennett, Posh were turned down and told not even £1million pound was enough to tempt club chairman John Fenty to sell.

No confirmation as yet been released although new is expected in the next few days.

Town’s average attendance has shot up 9% from the 2007/2008 season, the average attendance for this season was 4,476 up from the 4,115 the previous season.
