Mansfield are really going for it this season with everyone pulling together including the 12th Stag.
For last seasons fourth best supported side has had its budget boosted by fans group the 12th Stag who are funding part of both Luke Medley and Paul Connor`s wages. Hats off to an awesome gesture from the fans showing what can be achieved when the fans are part of the plan.
The Gaffer and board are also doing their bit. David Holdsworth has brought in 11 players so far this summer with perhaps another loan to boot prior to the big kick off on Saturday. As well as Luke and Paul Holdsworth has signed another four free agents in Ashley Cain, Keigan Parker, Tyrone Thompson and Steve Foster.
He has also charmed Adam Smith from local rivals York, influential Kevin Sandwith from Oxford, Mark Preece & Paul Stonehouse from Forest Green Rovers and Chris Smith toddles down from Tamworth
