Robert, who can play in centre midfield as well as on the left wing, has impressed enough to earn a 2 year deal. He has a superb range of passing in open play and consistent quality of delivery from set pieces.
The Mariners needed a left winger and Robert seems to fulfill that role, although he has a decent shot, free kick and corner on him; as well as a good turn of pace, cross and eye for a threaded through ball.
