Joe Widdowson yesterday agreed a 3 year deal to sign for Grimsby Town. The left winger signs from premiership side West Ham.

Joe already known to the Mariners faithful after a highly succesful loan spell towards the end of the season will be a great addition to the Mariners squad.

Chris Llewellyn has left the Mariners to join welsh league side Neath fc who’s highest attendance at home last season was just 447. Good luck there Chris.

In other news, Andy Taylor has reported last week was told he could leave the club has had his contract terminated. Andy who still had a year left to run, was set to shine but failed to mobilise himself in the Mariners squad.
