The Football League have announced the dates for the new season to begin.
The 2006/2007 fixture lists will be released from 10am on Thursday 22nd June with the Football League season beginning on Saturday 5th August 2006.
Due to many of the country’s best players being involved in the World Cup the Premiership season will begin two weeks after the Football League season starts.
