Two Signings This Week

In a complete contrast to last season, Town’s summer rebuilding is almost complete well before the seasons start.

With a full pre-season to build his third Mariners legacy, Buckley has wasted little time in working his magic with Jamie Clarke and James Hunt arriving to combine with the extended deals for the likes of Ciaran Toner, Gary Jones and Justin Whittle.

Still in want of a goalkeeper and a striker amongst other positions, Buckley is keen to get everyone in place before the pre-season friendlies.

No doubt Martin Paterson and Paul Morgan will be speculated as the new signings, despite Buckley going on record as ruling himself out of a move for Morgan and suggesting he could be priced out for Paterson.
